Pick up rental car

Yes, the time has finally come. Packing your suitcases was still a bit stressful, but you have now landed in Curaçao. Fortunately, you have already reserved the rental car at home, so all you have to do is pick it up or have it delivered so that the fun can begin! With these tips you know exactly how picking up your rental car works.

What do I need to pick up the rental car?

The three most important things you need to pick up your reserved rental car are:
– The reservation voucher
– Your driver’s license
– A credit card in the name of the main driver.

Where do I pick up the rental car?

You can pick up your rental car reservation, including everything involved, at our office.
address: Kaya Butuela 105, Grote Berg, Curaçao.
Upon arrival in Curaçao you can immediately drive to our office and pick up your car.
Our office address is listed above and also on our reservation form.
Because you receive the voucher immediately after booking, you have enough time to read up carefully in advance.

How does pick-up with address delivery work?

With an address delivery you do not have to pick up your rental car, but it will be delivered to your accommodation on an agreed day and time. Handy if you do not want to rent a rental car for the entire holiday period, but just want to tour for a few days.
Do you want to use address delivery? Please indicate this when booking.

Sign the rental contract at destination

When booking online, you already provide us with your personal details. Why do you have to complete and sign a rental contract again at your destination? Only the name and address details that you provide when booking are not sufficient.
After all that paperwork, you will receive the keys to your rental car. A time-consuming job, especially if more people pick up their rental car at the same time.

Before you drive away..

All the paperwork has been arranged at the counter and the keys to the rental car have been handed over. You prefer to get in and drive away, we understand that! But take a few minutes to walk around the car to check for any damage that is not mentioned in the contract. Also take a photo of the tank position.

What if I pick up the rental car outside opening hours?

That is not a problem at all. When booking online, you indicate what time you want to pick up the car. We will then show the offices that are open at that time. Sometimes an office is closed, but an employee remains waiting for you. There may be additional costs involved. Do you not see any costs for collection outside opening hours in your overview when booking? Then these are not there!

My flight is delayed, what should I do?

Is your flight delayed and are you therefore picking up the car later? Once you have entered the flight number in the car rental reservation, the local fleet provider can see if there is a delay. So you don’t have to worry about that. Are you delayed by more than 2 hours? Then it is wise to contact us by telephone via email or WhatsApp.
